Retirement Corpus Calculator

Find the retirement corpus your lifestyle needs — and the monthly SIP to get there. The calculator grows today's expenses by inflation to your retirement age and sizes a fund that lasts through retirement while still earning.

How it's calculated

Today's monthly expense is grown by inflation to your retirement age to find your first-year retirement spending. The corpus is the amount that can fund those expenses — which keep rising with inflation — for your whole retirement, while the fund itself earns the post-retirement return. Finally, the tool works out the monthly SIP that would build that corpus by retirement at your pre-retirement return.

Corpus uses an inflation-adjusted (growing annuity) drawdown. Figures are planning estimates; real inflation and returns vary.

Frequently asked questions

Does it assume the corpus is exhausted?
Yes — it sizes the corpus to just last your chosen retirement duration. Leaving an inheritance would need a larger corpus.
What about EPF, PPF, NPS?
Subtract what those will provide from the corpus figure to find the extra you must save. See the NPS and PPF tools.
Is the SIP fixed?
It assumes a level monthly SIP; a step-up SIP could start lower and rise with your income.
